Herbert W. Liaunig, “The museum represents the fulfilment of a long-term wish of our family to create an adequate home for our collection. At the same time, as the only location displaying an overview of Austrian Post-war art in a permanent exhibition, it closes one of the major gaps in the Austrian museum landscape.”
The museum is closed for winter break from November 1, 2008 until April 25, 2009 and is open again from April 26, 2009 until October 31, 2009 with some alterations to the current exhibition for the interest of the general public.
The museum is accessible through guided tours for interested members of the general public by appointment only. Several tours will be offered daily, Wednesday through Sunday. Appointments for 2009 can be made beginning April 1, 2009. No admission for children unter the age of 12.
